In 2018, It was a fun and enthusiastic year.

School was fun this year because I had
a awesome teacher as well. But this yea
r was just like any other like going to
school, church, amazing places and even more.

Day 5 activity 2 My trip to Tundra

Dear Mum, I went to a awesome trip to
Tundra and explored nearly the whole
entire place. It was so amazing and I
enjoyed the ride there and back and
again it was so FUN!.

Day 5 activity 1 Loggers

We should not have loggers

1)If we would cut trees what is going
to happen is that population won't stop
growing but oxygen in the atmosphere
will reduce.

2)We won’t have that much paper

Day 4 activity 3 My dream hotel

My dream hotel will be at the city and
it will be made out of my favorite veggie
broccoli so when I sleep and wake up
and I am hungry I can eat my house.

Day 4 activity 2 My favorite FOOD!

My favorite food to make is SCRAMBLED
EGGS. How to make it is you need the
number of eggs you want crack it into a
cup, pour a little of milk, mix it, then
pour it onto the pan, and wait until it
bubbles, then take it out and enjoy it
with a toast.Thank You

Day 3 activity 3 WWF

1)WWF (World Wildlife Fund) was
trying to save a seal.

2)WWF was talking about seals.
Seals give birth in snow banks but
if it is born on ice cubs will probably
die by their predators or humans.
So what they are doing are digging the
snow banks for them.

3)%100 for them for working hard and
for trying to protect animals

Day 3 activity 2 If I wanna be a DOC (Ranger) or not?

If I would be a DOC (Ranger) I would
love to see a lot of lizards and to teach
them to stay calm. But if I would be
scared of teaching lizards I think they
were just bite me, am I right.

SLJ Day 3 activity 1 My Beast

In New Zealand there is a strange
beast called GLENBRAE scary name
eh. The story is, A long time ago a little
boy name Jack got bullied a lot of time
a his school. Then at college he got
bullied even more so he pulled
out his braces and went to a witch
named Chris. Chris gave Jack a potion
that will turn him strong.

Then one mysterious night he walked
out of his room and his brother walked
to him and his brother screamed because
Jack actually turn into a huge lizard and
his brother ran. Then Jack ran outside
scratching everybody then his brother
called the swat and they had a rocket
launcher and they shot it at Jack.

Finally, he turned back to a little boy and
he was never to be bullied ever again.

One day I will really like to visit the Waipoua Forest to see the Tane Mahuta tree because it would be fun and so I can take my family with me so it could be a family time all together. Why I would like to visit the Tane Mahuta to have the best time EVER!!

My Made Up Story

One dark, gloomy night a man named John
was working in a cemetery digging a hole.
Then he saw a hand come out of Mason Liu’s
grave, he quickly ran out of the
cemetery and shouted”
HELP THERES A ZOMBIE. Then he
ran all the way to his house.

Next, all the dead people came out of there
graves and started scratching and biting
everybody, but 2 soldiers named John  and
Gideon was eating at a restaurant and
heard a strange noise, he quickly flipped
the table and was hiding, he took his
pistol out of his pocket and ran outside
and started shooting the zombies then
Gideon grabbed John and they ran to the
train station.

Then, they were hiding in the train then
they saw a zombie John said”Shoot it” then
Gideon said”NO it will attract more
zombies” so they ran to a motel, went in a
room, boarded up the windows and door.
Then 1 hour later they heard a big loud
bang they got u and opened the door
and it was the air force people they
saved John and Gideon and they were safe.

Lily and the Snowman

Once upon a time a girl named Lily was outside her house building a snowman.  It came to life. Lily was SHOCKED and EXCITED at the same time. Then a light came on and the snowman made a bird with his hands,  They both sat down to enjoy what the snowman was making. The snowman was making short films too to make Lily happy.

Next, Lily put the snowman into the fridge so he can’t melt. As Lily got older and older she didn’t care about her snowman. She got a job and was working hard even at night times. One day she happened to tip her coffee because she was too tired.  Then BANG!!! BOOM!!! her light fell and she looked at the wall because it showed a snowman.  It reminded her about her snowman and the good times they had together.

Then she grabbed her keys, jacket and quickly drove to her old house. She then gently took out her snowman and they started to watch the films with her daughter. They were all HAPPY again.

My Weekend

This long weekend on a Saturday morning I woke up feeling so tired, so I went to the kitchen to make a Milo. After drinking Milo I went on my brothers PS4, watched a little bit of YouTube on funny things but nothing made me laugh so I decided to play fortnite.

Next, my aunty came to pick up my cousin and brother for sleepover at her house.  I just went outside and played soccer by myself, after that I went inside and took a little nap.

Then, I woke up and went on the PS4 again and watched a movie called The Purge, next I played another game called Black ops 4.

Finally, it was  night so I went to the kitchen and made fried eggs, and then went to my room and watched another movie called The Three Wise Cousins it was an awesome movie.

First Aid

On Monday the 10th of September the year 4’s and 5’s went to the hall to learn about First Aid.

First a man named Mr Munik came and introduced himself then we talked about if your living in war wear a t-shirt with a red cross and say”I am not here to fight I am here to help both sides” just like Albert Einstein.

My favorite part of the day was when we had the super new iPhone that know one knows about and it is the iPhone 11 which was two cups and a string.

The Bright Lanterns

One cold night a angry old man was writing something he slammed the window and he heard a loud bang coming from the ceiling and people at a party stopped dancing his candle went out and then he grabbed a lantern and went upstairs.

He looked at the machine And then continue walking upstairs and looked in the huge light bulb he looked around and saw a ship coming and he knew it couldn't see and it will crash so he lift the bulb up and tripped over his tool and cracked the light bulb then the ship continued coming and he was worried.

Then he ran downstairs and opened the door and saw a lot of people holding bright lanterns and they all went on the lighthouse and the ship could see so it turned around and went away.

The Moon Creature

Once upon a time a little girl went outside and saw a long, long well. When she looked inside she dropped her bucket in the well and a mysterious creature looked at her then she screamed and then the creature ran swiftly behind a tree.

Then they became friends for some reason and the ugly and mysterious creature got her bucket and for the young girl. The creature went back where he came from and the little girl was VERY, VERY HAPPY.

In Room 9 we got given a blank face. We all drew something on it.  I drew the Joker with pencil. After that we went to the art room and painted the person we drew.

Beware of the furious wolf

I woke up and it was so cold, I was in the middle of nowhere. I got up and was looking around for food so I saw a deer and I ran to it and bit it. After, I was running again until I saw footprints. I smelt it. I could sense it so I followed the footprints and it was a HUMAN and it looked like a hunter.

I ran away because I noticed a gun he was holding so I ran away so fast I almost tripped. Once I felt safe, I made a bed with leaves and then went to sleep. While I was sleeping I heard footsteps. I stood up and there was no one there. So I went sleep again. When I woke up, I went on a cliff and I was howling then I came back down and saw PEOPLE walking around so I bent, down covered myself with snow and they walked right past me.

Next I got up saw a helicopter flying around so I ran and the light was flashing on me people started chasing me so I ran as fast as Usain Bolt then I tripped. I felt concussion but it was a good thing because I was covered with snow and they did not notice me.

Acrostic Poem

Stars are little and shiny and twinkling in the sky.

Planets are so cool just like the beautiful stars and also shaped like a ball.

Astronauts fly in space and float in the gravity and sometimes land on moon.

Craters cover the great big moon and what craters are caused by is asteroids and meteors colliding with the lunar surface.

Explosion causes meteors and asteroids crashing in the moon.

My Weekend

In the weekend on Saturday I went to the hospital to see my cousin because at his house when he woke up he jumped out of bed because his mum said he saw a ghost walking and in hospital he started to twitch.

Next, everybody started to leave but me and my aunty slept at the hospital with my cousin. Then we all woke up and my aunty and I went down to get something to eat and we got sushi and Mcdonalds.

Then, we took him down stairs because he had school and I said to my aunt "that's cool that there is a school in the hospital”. After that, we went back to the our room and my cousin and I went on the hospital’s PS4 and played Fortnite and Black Ops 3.

Finally, it was the night what we ate for dinner was my aunt's sausage curry, then we watched a movie on Netflix named The Boy In The Striped PJ’s.

Winter

I feel freezing cold floor

I see the beautiful sun rise

I taste the frozen ice

I see nice and white clouds

I feel a little bit of heat from the sun

The Living Planet Earth

The Living Planet Earth

Inside Earth there are 7.442 BILLION people

and it is the third planet from the sun. Earth is

4.54 BILLION years old. Earth is the only

planet that has air and oxygen because of our trees.

Earth is the only planet that has liquid water on its surface.

It is the only planet in our solar system that has life.

The other seven planets in our solar system are

all named after Roman gods or goddesses.

Although only Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and

Saturn were named during ancient times,  

they were visible to the naked eye. The

Roman method of naming planets was

retained after the discovery of Uranus and Neptune.

Earth was nearly formed about 4.6 BILLION

years ago and is mostly made out of rock. As

far as we know, Earth is unique from all from

all other planets in this respect and also light

from the sun takes 8 mins and 20 secs to reach

planet earth. My people and I are so lucky to be

living on planet EARTH.

Day and night

Earth takes 24 hours to make one complete rotation. If it is day at the South Pole that means the North Pole is Night. As Earth spins, sunlight only falls on one-half of the planet. This means it is daytime on that side of Earth. On the other side, it is night. This way, we have Day and Night. Thanks for reading!

Finacial Literacey

This week 4 people named Sasha, Chris, Jasmine and Lyndsey came in on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to teach us about Financial Literacy. We learnt about saving, borrowing and spending money as well as heaps of other fun things. My favourite thing was when we had to write how to protect our house contents and how we can minimise risk to our belongings.

My holiday

In the holidays I went to Rotorua with my Aunty, Uncle, Cousin and Brothers. First, We were packing our bags with Toothbrushes, Under wear and Clothes. Then we drove to  Pack in Save to buy Ice cream, Meat, Chips, Lollies, Fruit and Drinks.

Next, we put all our things in the van and drove off to Rotorua, Then we stopped for a little break and we ate some fish and chips with some flavored mint milkshake.

Then, we carried on driving to Rotorua, Then we arrived at our hotel at Rotorua, When we got there we saw a pool so we put our togs on and ran to the pool and I was cannon balling.

After that, We were eating our meat for dinner and in our cab there was 2 bunk beds and 1 big bed for my Uncle and Aunty, I slept on the top with my brother and my other brother was sleeping at the bottom with my Cousin.

Finally, we all went to sleep and I wish  we could all go there again because it was fun and my favorite part was the pool.

In 1979 A Scientist Named Isaac Newton Had A Fight With His Family Because Isaac Wanted To Be A Scientist But His Family Said” NO”, So He Got Mad And Went To His Laboratory And Drank A Bottle Of Zombie Blood And That’s How All The Zombies Happened But His Boss Walked In And Said” How You Doing Isaac”, Then Isaac Ran To Him And Bit Him And His Veins Started To Get Red Like Blood, Then They Ran Outside And Started To Bite Everyone And 2 Superheros Name Bree And Leo Were In A Hotel And Looked Out The Window And Saw Red People So They Went On Their Phone And On There Phone And It Said ”NO SERVICE”. They Ran Outside Killed All The Zombies But They Did Not Know There Was More Zombies Then They Looked Around The Whole City. They Ran To Rainbows End And Ran To A Roller Coaster Then Leo Lasered All The Zombies That He Could See. The sun begun to Rise and Burnt All The Zombies And Leo Said” What A Fun Night”.

Then They Got Off The Roller Coaster And Saw More Zombies In The Shade So Leo Killed Them With His Laser Eyes Then They Walked Back In The Hotel And Saw Hundreds Of Zombies So They Ran Back Outside And Bree Said” Smart Zombies”. So Leo Went Back Inside And Lasered Most Of Them Then Bree Came Inside Super Speed To The Zombies And Leo Hears ‘BANG SMACK BOOM SPLAT POP And PUNCHING’ The Zombies, Then They Walked In There Apartment And Saw A Boy Named Evan And A Girl Named Jasmine So Leo Was About To Laser Them But Bree Said” NO LEO THEIR HUMAN”, Then He Stopped Then Bree Said” We Come In Peace, My Name Is Bree And This Is My Step Brother Leo”. Then They Took Them And Put Them In The Kitchen To Eat Because They Looked Poor. Then They Finished Eating, All Of Them Went To Pak N Save Then They Arrived At Pak N Save They Went Inside Got A Trolley And Put MILLIONS And MILLIONS Of Fruit Cans, Fruit, Lollies And Ice Blocks. Bree Went And Super Speed Around Pak N Save To See If There Were More Zombies But There Were None, So They Went Back To The Hotel And Ate All The Food They Bring From Pak N Sav.

Then They Went To A Soccer Stadium And They Saw A Helicopter Landing In The Middle Of The Stadium So The Pilot Saw Them And Thought That They Were Zombies But They Waved Then He Came Down Put Them In The Helicopter And Went Up But There Was No Gas So They Went Down And Got Off. Then The Helicopter Blew Up Then The Zombies Heard A Big ‘BANG AND KABOOM’ So They Followed The Noise Which Led Them To The Stadium. The Whole Stadium Was Full Of Zombies Then Bree Put The Kids In The Middle And Also The Pilot Then Bree Said “Me And Leo Will Take Care Of This”. Leo Lasered Most Of The Zombies Then Bree Super Speed To The Other Half Of The Zombies And While She Was Running She Was Punching The Zombies Then It Was All Clear, After That They Went Back To The Hotel And The Pilot Took Off His Helmet And The Pilot Was Jasmine’s And Evan's Dad So They Were Really Happy But The Kids And Their Dad Went To Live In The Apartment Next To Bree’s And Leo’s Apartment Then They Came Back To Leo’s And Bree’s Apartment To Watch A Movie Then They All Fell Asleep.
