Ambury Farm

It was a bright sunny morning,The birds were chirpping and today the 26th of May 2017 we went to Ambury Farm as a part of our study on animals.

We met our educator Meredith who told us the safety rules, Stay on path, Stay away from electric fences and the last person in the line has to close the gate.

Next we went into the barn and she told us about farming,Animals,Inputs and outputs and the things that the farmer can’t control.

After that we went on a self-guided walk we saw lots of animals and we took a photo at the frame and we read information about two brothers named Stephen and Joseph Ambury.Their farm was a milking farm.It was called pointed farm.

The Meredith took us on a guided walk to feed the animals.we fed Cows, sheep,Goats, ducks and roosters i enjoyed feeding the animals.

We also watched a crutch demonstration where the wool was sheared off the sheep’s bottom. This is called dagging.

Finally we got to make yummy butter which we had on bread.

I really like going to ambury farm because i enjoyed feeding the animals and it was super fun.

3 States of Matter

On Tuesday the 1st August my class students and I went all the way to room 8 to learn about the 3 states of matter. They are solid, liquid and gas.
First it’s Solid.Solid is something that is very hard and its particles never moves because it just stays altogether as a group.
Next it’s liquid.Liquid is something that is very slurpy and slushy.Liquid particles move a little bit but it still does not leave it's spot.
Finally i's gas.You might think gas is like petrol but it isn't. Gas spreads everywhere like oxygen or fart. Gas is also a type of thing that spreads everywhere.
